Scotch eggs are not Scottish, as Claddagh’s chef Justin Murphy explained. Patrick’s Day, so let’s make scotch eggs from Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub. Needless to say, I have closed my account at Local Flavor.Chef Justin Murphy of Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub on Curry Ford Road shares his scotch eggs recipe. We understand that You feel "Fish and Chips' Should be an entree however it is indeed a light Fare in this establishment and we have no say over that!" While we are sorry to see you go we are happy to obliged an account closure if you indeed no longer want this account." So much for customer service. "While we hear your frustration understand this information (For Entrée's Only) is not only part of the certificate language that you failed to read it is part of the fine print language on the deal before even purchasing as well. I wrote again and this was their response: When we sent a message to Local Flavor, the denied our request for a refund or another certificate to use somewhere else. I agree that I missed For Entrée Only, but I thought we were ordering an entree I am sorry, I think paying $17.00 is an entree price. I was shocked that because Fish and Chips at $17.00 was not listed under Entree but Light Fare, they would not honor the certificate. Imagine our surprise when the server told us that the restaurant denied the certificate because we did not order an entree. He simply took the menu, pointed to the left bottom corner, said it was there, and it was $17.00 - so we ordered two. When the server came over, I told him I had seen Fish and Chips on their website, but I could not seem to locate it on the menu. My husband and I went to use a certificate for The Gourmet at Kenilworth. (she also advised me that their policy's would be changing and be getting worse - i have to assume business is not going well and they are on the brink of going under!) Customer service is awful - they need to work on that BIG time, i will never purchase another certificate from them ever again and i advise you not to do business with them either, if you do good luck if you have an issue. Then to make things worst after talking to the already irritated manager ( i have to assume she was having a bad day since she got on the line and was not pleasant at all) she emailed me and was completely rude that email should have never been sent to a "customer we value". They would not honor the same promo or even offer something similar to it for me to recoup some of the $25 lost. They gave me a credit of $56 but it should have been $75! I have now lost out on $25 and have no other options than to use the "credit" they offered me. They would only give me credits not a refund which would have been fine however it was not the full amount of credits/cash i used to purchase the certificates. Yesterday we used a different certificate and got a survey email from Local Flavor that had a phone number i called and was finally able to to talk to someone about a refund. I tried to reach out to Local Flavor only to be redirected on their site and the only way to contact them was by an online form. I bought several certificates to use at a restaurant and unfortunately they went out of business.
